The director of the project directorate is responsible, within the BWB area of responsibility, for all measures related to the transformation, network-enabled capabilities and concept development and experimentation (CD&E).
The implementation of armaments projects is the BWB core task. Four project divisions, covering the areas Land Combat, Land Support, Air and Sea, are responsible for providing the Bundeswehr (Bw) with needs-oriented state-of-the-art equipment.
